B & D Tools Prop-N-Lock

Description

In car repair and numerous other situations, it is desired to prop open automobile
areas such as the hood, the trunk, a door, and so on. A number of different prop devices
have been proposed. Some such devices are fixed in length. Others are extendable but
rely on rubberized ends that hold onto the opposing surfaces with friction. Still others use
a ratchet strap to tie down the prop to hold the hood/trunk/door open in a fixed position.
What is needed is a more simple, extendable device that works on wide variety of
cars and trucks to allow the technician to hold and lock the desired panel in place.
